Commission and Rank Terms

    • 50% Rule: The 50% Rule is applied to all Senior Director (SD) and higher organizations to ensure that no one Qualified Leg is producing more than 50% of the total Organizational Volume (OV) for qualification purposes. If these qualifications are not met, the CE would be paid at the rank at which they qualified.
  • 1,500 GV Director Promotion Credit: When a Director promotes a new Director from their Personal Group, they will receive a 1,500 GV credit applied to their Personal Group Volume for a period of three months. This applies for each Director that’s promoted and begins the month the new Director promotes.
  • Active: A CE becomes active when they have at least 1 PCV in a given month. 
  • Career Rank: The highest rank you have achieved in the previous three months.
    • CE (Cause Entrepreneur): A member of our ONEHOPE community who has joined our mission to share wine and give hope.
  • CV (Commissionable Volume): The volume on which commissions are paid, and the basis for Bonus Volume. Commissionable Volume on discounted products is calculated using a dual-pricing method. Gift Sets = 66.7% of net sales; Full Case = 85% of net sales; 1/2 Case = 85% of net sales; Wine Club = 75% of net sales.
  • Current Rank: The rank you are at today, in the current month.
    • DIR (Director): A CE who has 1,500 PCV, 4 qualified legs (2 are SCE legs), 3,500 GV, 5,000 OV.
  • ECE (Executive Cause Entrepreneur): A CE who has 1,200 PCV, 3 qualified legs (2 are LCE legs), 2,000 OV.
    • ED (Executive Director): A CE who has 1,500 PCV, 6 qualified legs (3 DIR+ legs, 1 LD+ leg), 3,500 GV, 50,000 OV. Please note the 50% rule applies. 
    • First Time Promotion: The first time a Cause Entrepreneur promotes to a new rank or title. 
    • Impact Director: A CE who achieved the rank of Director during Fast Start. They carry the “Impact” title with them throughout their career. For example, if they promote to Lead Director, their title would be Impact Lead Director.
    • LCE (Lead Cause Entrepreneur): A Cause Entrepreneur who has 300 PCV, 1 qualified leg, and 600 OV.
    • LD (Lead Director): A CE who has 1,500 PCV, 4 qualified legs (1 DIR Leg, and 1 SCE leg), 3,500 GV, 5,000 OV.
  • Leg: Each one of the individuals enrolled immediately underneath you, and their respective organizations, represents one “leg” in your organization.
  • Level: The layers of downline CEs in an organization based on sponsoring/genealogy relationships. For example, if A sponsors B who sponsors C, then B is A's first level and C is A's second level and so on.
  • Lifetime Rank: The highest rank you have ever achieved in the ONEHOPE Compensation Plan.
    • Mentor: A Mentor is another CE that provides support and guidance. Each new Cause Entrepreneur either enrolls with a mentor that they know, or is assigned a Mentor after enrollment.
    • NED (National Executive Director): A CE who has 1,500 PCV, 6 qualified legs (1 DIR+ leg, 2 LD+ legs, 1 ED+ leg), 3,500 GV, 250,000 OV. Please note the 50% rule applies. 
    • OV (Organizational Volume): For a given Cause Entrepreneur, the Personal Commissionable Volume of a Cause Entrepreneur, and each of the Cause Entrepreneurs in the given Cause Entrepreneur’s Organization.
    • PCV (Personal Commissionable Volume): For a given Cause Entrepreneur, the total Commissionable Volume of products sold in a given month.
    • PGV (Personal Group Volume): The Personal Commissionable Volume of a Cause Entrepreneur and each of the Cause Entrepreneurs in the Cause Entrepreneur’s Group. This is not limited to your uni-level bonus, it is infinite. Also referred to as Group Volume.
  • Qualified: To have 300 Personal Commissionable Volume (PCV) in a given month.
    • Qualified CE: A Cause Entrepreneur who has accumulated Personal Commissionable Volume (PCV) of 300 in a given month.
  • Qualified Leg: Any Downline Leg within your organization where a Cause Entrepreneur has sold 300 PCV or more, regardless of their level to you.
  • Rank (also referred to as “Title”): A title that a Cause Entrepreneur has achieved pursuant to the ONEHOPE Compensation plan.
    • SCE (Senior Cause Entrepreneur): A CE who has 600 PCV, 2 qualified legs, and 1,200 OV.
    • SD (Senior Director): A CE who has 1,500 PCV, 5 qualified legs (2 are DIR+ legs), 3,500 GV, 20,000 OV. Please note the 50% rule applies. 
    • SED (Senior Executive Director): A CE who has 1,500 PCV, 6 qualified legs (2 DIR+ legs, 2 SD+ legs), 3,500 GV, 100,000 OV. Please note the 50% rule applies. 
  • Uni-Level Bonus: Bonuses earned up to four levels down in a Cause Entrepreneur’s downline organization. For example, if A sponsors B who sponsors C, then B is A’s Level 1 and C is A’s Level 2.
  • Upline Leader: For any given CE, the next paid-as person in your upline of equal rank or higher. 

Programs

  • Fast Start: An incentive program to earn free wine and extra cash, exclusively for new Cause Entrepreneurs s during their first three, full calendar months.
      • Rock Star: When a new CE sells $500 in their first full 14 days, they will earn a pre-curated free 6-pack of wine as part of our Fast Start program.
      • Fast Start 100: When a new Cause Entrepreneur sells $1000 retail from the month they join through their first full calendar month in business, they will earn a $100 cash bonus.
      • Fast Start 200: When a new Cause Entrepreneur sells $2000 retail from the month they join through their second full calendar month in business, they will earn a $200 cash bonus.
      • Fast Start 300: When a new Cause Entrepreneur sells $3000 retail from the month they join through their third full calendar month in business, they will earn a $300 cash bonus.
  • Reward Points: Rewards are earned by customers and Cause Entrepreneurs on purchases made at onehopewine.com. All purchases will result in 5-10% back in Reward Points that can be used for discounts on future wine orders, or donated to a ONEHOPE featured nonprofit. A la carte purchases will result in 5% back in reward points, while Wine Club and Build Your Own Subscriptions will result in 10% back in rewards points. Hosts will earn 10% back in Reward Points for qualifying events. Cause Entrepreneurs can also earn 1,000 reward points for each month they qualify with 300 PCV.

Wine 

  • 7Cellars Collection: This collection is comprised of elegant, yet approachable wines created by Hall of Fame football legend, and esteemed restaurateur, John Elway in partnership with ONEHOPE.
  • Brut: Sparkling wine that is dry (not sweet) in style.
  • Case (12-pack): A case of wine refers to the quantity of bottles that come in a case. ONEHOPE refers to a case as 12-bottles or a 12-pack.
  • Cellared: When a wine has been removed from our portfolio and put into the wine cellar to age longer. This in turn creates an optimal tasting experience.
  • Libraried: Any wine that is currently unopened in your library or cellar.
  • Event Kit: Hosts can purchase wine at a discount to share during an event. This discounted set of wine is called an Event Kit. In the past, this was referred to as a Host Kit or Tasting Kit.
  • Glitter Bottle: Recognized by O, the Oprah Magazine, OK! Magazine, and USA Today, our Glitter Brut bottles add an extra sparkle to every festivity! Our glitter bottles has glitter layered on top of the glass and is shrink wrapped to help minimize shedding. 
  • Half-Case (6-pack): A half-case of wine refers to the quantity of bottles that come in a case. ONEHOPE refers to a half-case as 6-bottles or a 6-pack.
  • Iconic Collection: This collection includes meticulously handcrafted, limited-edition varietals made from ONEHOPE’s estate-grown grapes from our world-class vineyard in Rutherford, California.
  • Magnum: A “magnum” is referring to the size of the bottle which is 1.5 liters, or the equivalent of two bottles (750 ml each).
  • Mari’s Picks: Mari’s Picks is a term referring to our Head Winemaker, Mari Wells Coyle, and her favorite featured wines. Mari’s Picks has been renamed to the ONEHOPE Wine Club.
  • Nose: A term used to describe the scents and aromas that a glass of wine gives off.
  • PWP: This stands for Purchase with Purchase. We offer intermittent promotions to encourage additional purchases when a customer is checking out. These are often 50% retail pricing plus shipping once a 6+ bottle order is added to the shopping cart. Refer to your Month-at-a-Glance for this month’s specials.
    • Qualified CE Wine Cellar: The Wine Cellar is available only to Cause Entrepreneurs. You’ll find business supplies and wine in the Wine Cellar. Qualified Cause Entrepreneurs can purchase discounted 6-packs and 12-packs from the Wine Cellar.
  • Reserve Collection: This collection is made up of wines with more specific AVAs (American Viticultural Areas) from world renowned growing regions. We have smaller productions of these items, so they are more exclusive.
  • Shimmer Bottle: Recognized by O, the Oprah Magazine, OK! Magazine, and USA Today, our Shimmer Brut bottles add an extra sparkle to every festivity! Our shimmer bottle packaging utilizes patented technology which allows our bottles to not “shed,” and can be placed directly into an ice bucket.
  • Sommelier: A Sommelier is a trained and knowledgeable wine professional, normally working in fine restaurants, who specializes in all aspects of wine service as well as wine and food pairing.
  • Tasting Flight: A 4-pack of our small 187ml wine bottles. These are available for customers to try our award-winning wines before hosting an in-person or virtual event.
  • Vintner Collection: This collection is made up of the core wines in the ONEHOPE wine portfolio. These are the $25 award-winning mainstay varietals that customers love.

 

Fundraisers and Events

  • Booking Blitz: A short period of time, usually one week or less, in which nearly all concentrated efforts focus on Cause Entrepreneurs scheduling (booking) Events.
  • Event: An individual fundraiser you are able to create as a Cause Entrepreneur. 
    • Event Kit: Hosts can purchase wine at a discount to share during an event. This discounted set of wine is called an Event Kit. In the past, this was referred to as a Host Kit or Tasting Kit.
  • Group Fundraiser: These fundraisers are hosted by the ONEHOPE Foundation, which is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that is a separate entity from ONEHOPE Wine. ONEHOPE Wine donates directly to this foundation, and funds are then allocated to featured nonprofits and Host’s selected nonprofits. The purpose of these group fundraisers is to encourage our Cause Entrepreneur Community and customers to collectively support one cause to help make a greater impact! 
  • Reward Points: Rewards are earned by customers and Cause Entrepreneurs on purchases made at onehopewine.com. All purchases will result in 5-10% back in Reward Points that can be used for discounts on future wine orders, or donated to a ONEHOPE featured nonprofit.   • Tasting: An in-person or virtual event where our wines are showcased. 

Videos, Calls, and Communication

  • 9 to Wine: This is a Facebook Live video that takes place on the ONEHOPE Community Facebook Group every Wednesday at 9 am PST. This video is led by our Head Winemaker, Mari Wells Coyle, and often includes behind the scenes projects from the winery, busting wine myths, and providing wine education for our Cause Entrepreneurs. 
  • Discovery Call: This call is a great tool for Cause Entrepreneurs to introduce the ONEHOPE opportunity to prospects. This is a 3-way call with a Cause Entrepreneur, their prospect, and a member of the Cause Entrepreneur’s upline team. The prospect has the opportunity to ask questions of the upline team member to learn more about joining.
  • Gather to Grow: This is a weekly Facebook Live skill-set training video series offered every Tuesday at 5 pm PST on the ONEHOPE Community Facebook Group. 
  • Grape to Glass: A special recorded call with ONEHOPE’s Head Winemaker, Mari Wells Coyle, detailing the wines available in the current Wine Club selection. All Grape to Glass videos can be found on ONEHOPE’s YouTube channel.
  • The Vine: Our weekly email newsletter is sent out every Tuesday morning exclusively for our Cause Entrepreneurs. We also have a Vine Blog which compiles our weekly news and updates into one place for our Cause Entrepreneurs to access.

CE Community 

  • Back Office: The Back Office is an online dashboard where a Cause Entrepreneur will be able to access the tools and resources to run their business.
    • Community: We refer to all of our Cause Entrepreneurs as the ONEHOPE Community.
    • Home Office: ONEHOPE is comprised of over 100 employees that make up the corporate offices, also known as the Home Office Team
  • Impact: As a company, we use the term “Impact” to showcase the donations we make to meaningful causes through the ONEHOPE Foundation. 
    • Onboarding: We use this term to refer to the process of welcoming and training a new Cause Entrepreneur.

Marketing Tools

  • Month at a Glance: This document is a comprehensive list of specials, programs, and incentives available to Cause Entrepreneurs and their customers. The list is updated on the first of each month and can be found in The Help Center Index.
  • One Sheet: A marketing material designed by the ONEHOPE Creative Team to share with customers, hosts, and prospects about programs, incentives, specials, and products.
  • Shareable: ONEHOPE’s branded social media marketing images. These images can be found in The Help Center Index under Social Media Shareables.
  • Winenot List: An evolving and ever-growing collection of names of people you will compile and reach out to as you grow your ONEHOPE business.

Payment and Reports

  • Hyperwallet: ONEHOPE uses a company called Paylution (also known as Hyperwallet) as our commission payment provider for our Cause Entrepreneurs.
  • Levels Genealogy Report: This report displays the different Levels of your downline structure. It is currently the only report that shows commissionable volume (CV) in real-time.
  • Paylution: ONEHOPE uses a company called Paylution (also known as Hyperwallet) as our commission payment provider for our Cause Entrepreneurs. 
  • Team Tree Report: This report displays a graphic of your entire organization’s structure. When you hover on individuals you will see key data, including their CE ID and commissionable volume (CV).

Trips and Conferences

  • CRUSH: Our annual conference for the ONEHOPE Cause Entrepreneur Community where CEs are offered in-depth trainings, workshops, and recognition during our awards ceremony. This is a great opportunity for CEs to learn tools and strategies to grow their business while bonding with fellow Cause Entrepreneurs in the Community.
  • Harvest Party: A fundraising event put on by ONEHOPE celebrating the fall harvest at our winery and tasting room in Napa Valley, California. Directors and above have the ability to earn an invitation to this exclusive event held in the Fall.
  • Leader Summit: An annual event for ONEHOPE Cause Entrepreneur Leaders. Directors and above have the opportunity to earn an invitation to attend our Leader Summit.
