How do I place an order for my customer outside of an event?

If you would like to place an order for your customer via a contact profile, click on the “Contacts” link in the left-hand navigation of your CE Back Office

 

If you are placing an order for an existing contact, search for the contact using the search bar. Once located, click on the “Order” button to the right of their name. 

 

If your contact has not been created yet, click the “create new contact” button at the top-right of your screen. Enter the contacts’ information and hit “Save.” Then, search for the contact you created and click on the “Order” button to the right of their name. 

 

Clicking the “order” button will launch you into “concierge mode,” which means you are placing the order within the contact’s account. You can tell that you’re in “concierge mode” by checking the black banner at the very top of your browser window. It will say “Shopping for: [customer-name]”.

 

 

Please note that there will not be any host information in the black banner because you are ordering under an event. If you would like to place an order for a customer under an event, please view this article.
