What is needed to host an in-person event?

To hold an in-person tasting event, we recommend the host purchase an Event Kit so guests can try our wines while supporting a meaningful cause. Our Event Kit includes a mix of six or twelve bottles of award-winning wines offered at a discounted price. The host or Cause Entrepreneur can select which wines they’d like to try, and place the order prior to the event.

What to Bring

As Cause Entrepreneurs hold more in-person events, they will find what items work best for them. We recommend bringing Order Forms, Marketing Brochures, One Sheets with current promotions, and pens. Items that are not necessarily needed but would be great to have for your display include a gift set or two, and a ONEHOPE glitter or shimmer bottle for your table display (they’re great conversation starters!)

Host Coaching

Host Coaching is very important to ensure successful events. Your host is your partner, and coaching your host builds trust and a stronger relationship. Frequently checking in prior to the event is best. You'll want to learn about the cause they are supporting, whom they are inviting to attend, where the event will be held, and so much more. This Host Coaching Checklist is a helpful tool to guide you through this process. For training on using the Host Coaching Checklist and how to coach your host, click here.

Additional items to discuss with your host during your host coaching conversations include: who will be providing the glassware for the tasting, who will be providing ice to chill any white wines, what foods the host may offer to pair with the wine, and where the guests will sit.
