Which enhancements are included in the May launch?
Starting May 2022 These Wine Club updates will include new features for both BYO and Curated subscriptions:
- New subscribers will now receive a FREE Gift in their 2nd shipment and be notified about this via email after sign up.
- Wine Club members will receive 5% rewards for every order.
How will Wine Club members be notified about the Free Gift?
After enrolling as a Wine Club Member, they will receive an email that notifies them about the Free Gift in their 2nd shipment.
Which enhancements are included in the June 2022 update?
These Wine Club updates will include 3 main new features for both BYO and Curated subscriptions:
1. New subscribers will now receive a FREE Gift in their 2nd shipment and be notified about this via email after sign up.
2. Subscribers can now change the upcoming shipment date of their next shipment for a date up to 3-months in the future from the current shipment date.
3. Subscribers can change the quantity of wine bottles included in their Wine Club subscription.
Why are these enhancements important?
We have received a lot of feedback from current Wine Club subscribers as well as previous Wine Club subscribers that indicate that these functions will greatly improve the user experience as a subscriber. We also wanted to give the user a bit more control over their subscription, rather than having to go to the Support team directly for any action they want to take.
Can subscribers “push up” their shipment date so that it’s sooner than initially scheduled?
Yes! Subscribers will be able to use the date picker to choose a date prior to the current shipment date, or for a date up to 3 months after the shipment date. So essentially, a subscriber can delay or speed up a shipment.
If I delay my shipment date, when will the shipment date after that one be?
The subsequent future shipment dates in the subscription will follow the new cadence, based on the new shipment date that is selected. For example for my monthly subscription, if my initial shipment date was 6/1, but I delayed it to 7/15, then my following shipment dates would resume as 8/15, 9/15, and 10/15.
What happens if a subscriber decreases the quantity of wines in their subscription?
When a user adjusts the subscription to a smaller quantity, we will automatically delete the “extra” bottles in the subscription, in other words, the last 2 bottles selected in the Wine Club Menu. Example: (6 —> 4 bottles): A, B, C, D, E, F —> A, B, C, D
Then, after changing the quantity for the user, we will urge them to go back to the Wine Swap menu and select the exact bottles that they want to include in the subscription.
What happens if a subscriber increases the number of wines in their subscription?
When a user adjusts the subscription to a larger quantity, we will take the last bottles and duplicate it into the new slots that need filling. Example: (4 —> 6 bottles): A, B, C, D —> A, B, C, D, A, B Then, after changing the quantity for the user, we will urge them to go back to the Wine Swap menu and select the exact bottles that they want to include in the subscription.
Can a CE help manage changes to their customer's Wine Club membership?
Yes. Through the CE Back Office, you can change the shipment frequency, and number of bottles in a subscription, and update the shipping address and payment. To learn more about Wine Club Concierge click here.
